Summer Camps

Summer Camps for Kids

What can you expect from The Kinder Garden School Summer Camps?

Are you looking for a summer camp that is diverse, student-focused and FUN?  Do you want your child to maintain their academic level over the summer so they can keep their academic skills sharp?  Then, you’re in the right place!  Summer Camps at The Kinder Garden Schools are filled with fun, excitement, exploration and discovery.  This summer, our themes include Blasting Off Into Summer, Sports, Nature, Bugs, Wonders of the World, Summer Safari, Magical Me, Rock Exploration, Under the Sea and Superheros.  Above all, fun is paramount!

Experiences include:

  • Water play
  • Field trips (2-4 per month)
  • Library trips
  • Travel to local parks
  • Bridge the Gap learning (so children can keep their academic skills sharp)
  • Sports Education and practice
  • Cooking
  • Crafts
  • Science experiments
  • STEM integration in each project
  • Swim team transportation (**destinations are limited**)

We want our summer campers to have fun during the summer months however, we also understand that we need to support children so they maintain their academic progress.  The school age campers are expected to read and practice math every day.  As a result of reading every day, your child will return to school in the fall feeling confident and excited to move forward with their learning!  The Kinder Garden School Design Life Cycle is used for all projects.  Because we use a structured design cycle, the children are able to explore more independently.  Our campers love the independence and freedom the summer brings!  Our campers Ask-Imagine-Design-Build-Improve-Share their way through all of the projects that are presented to them.  This structure allows our campers to feel in control of their education…even in June, July and August!  For example, this year, the school age campers designed their own water feature out of pool noodles and duct tape to be used on the playground!
